When You Think You’re Ready to Jump Out the Gym, You Might Need to Move Up
Fitbit says it’s launching a new fitness tracker for women, the Harley Night Train.
The device, which will be available in the U.S. and Canada from July 1, will have an integrated wristband, a heart rate monitor, and a barometric sensor that tracks calories burned.
It will also include a variety of health-focused features like heart rate monitoring, step counting, and calorie counters.
According to Fitbit, the Night Train will include a heart monitor that will track your heartbeat, your breathing rate, and other physiological data.
It’s also going to offer “a comprehensive nutrition plan,” and “personalized workout routines” based on your personal goals.
The company says it is looking for women who want to increase their fitness but don’t want to get in shape all at once.
Fitbit isn’t the first company to offer a fitness tracker, but it’s the first to offer it for women.
Fitbits are also one of the few fitness trackers that work with Android Wear, and they recently launched a version for the Pebble smartwatch.
