When is royal gorge train wreck?
On Friday, a royal gorge-train wreck occurred at the Grand Parade, which takes place on May 2, the day before May Day.
The train wreck occurred as the Prince Charles was leaving Buckingham Palace for his private holiday.
The Prince, who has been on a royal visit to Australia and New Zealand, was accompanied by his wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, and their two young daughters, Violet, eight, and Theo, five.
On Friday, it was reported that the train had broken down at a section near Buckingham Palace’s Victoria station.
The train was expected to be towed to a temporary stop at a station in the Midlands, but the delay left the Prince stranded.
“We have spoken to the station commander and we are working to find out where the train is and what the cause of the delay is,” a spokesman for Buckingham Palace said.
Violet and Theo were both unhurt.
