How to avoid makeup train delays

A makeup train has derailed at a New York City station, and there’s no telling what might happen next.

At least six people were injured in a derailment on Monday, according to the Federal Transit Administration.

No one was hurt in the derailment of a train near the station in the Bronx, according the agency.

A spokesman for the Federal Transportation Administration, Jim Scott, said the train was moving at more than 60 mph when it derailed.

It took about an hour for the train to reach the tracks, Scott said.

He did not provide a timetable for when the train would be cleared to resume its normal route.

The MTA did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
